Even though i love south Indian snacks,many of them demands grinding,correct ratio of ingredients etc...and sometimes i become too lazy...This simple unniyappam is one of my favorite,since its so easy to make and so soft.

This simple unniyappam is one of my favorite,since its so easy to make and so soft.
INGREDIENTS:
- Maida -1 cup
- Rawa/semolina- 1/4 cup
- Small banana-1 or 1 n 1/2(if too small)-mashed well
- Jaggery-2 to 3 big pieces,melted in hot water
- Coconut pieces-roasted in ghee
- Baking powder-1/2 tsp
- Cardamom powder-1/2 tsp
- Black cumin(karinjeerakam)-1 tsp
- Oil
- Small pinch salt
METHOD:
- Mix maida,rawa,mashed banana,coconut,baking powder,cumin and cardamom
- Add jaggery water till you get a smooth batter
- Batter should not be thick ot too loose.(if thick,appam will become hard)
- Pour oil in unniyapam pan,then pour 3/4th batter in each.
- Turn when it become brown
