What is the blood type group ?
A blood type (also called a blood group) is a classification of blood based on the presence or absence of inherited antigenic substances on the surface of red blood cells (RBCs).
These antigens may be proteins, carbohydrates, glycoproteins, or glycolipids, depending on the blood group system. Some of these antigens are also present on the surface of other types of cells of various tissues.
Several of these red blood cell surface antigens can stem from one allele (or very closely linked genes) and collectively a blood group system.Blood types are inherited and represent contributions from both parents. If the blood type of the mother is A and the father is O , then the fetus blood type will be A, but he will carry the gene of his father O , when he grow up, half of his descendants will get A while the other half will get O
Genes power of A and B are equal , so if one of the parents is A and the other is B then the fetus will get AB blood type
Fetus will get O type if his parents have O type
Some parents , one of them has A type and the other has O type, the fetus get O type , this happens if both parents carry O gene
